I have been isolating myself from my family as much as I can for the past 6 years. I resonate deeply with this unfortunately. Back in 2020 we moved unnecessarily and I was ripped of any social life I had. The parental overregation is truly harmful. They think they are doing the right thing, when they really don’t understand us fully. They didn’t grow up with what we have today
