Ah alright. So basically I’m super in love with her but she has no idea yet, I haven’t told her. I feel like she might know by how I act and text her. I also am getting a lot of good signs that she likes me back like she hearts a lot of my texts lol and she starts lots of the conversations. She’s really something different. I would be beyond disappointed if I lost her. I’ve been thinking and I might just tell her next time we see each other at the end of may.

I went to church today, and the sermon was about this high school teacher, who on the last day of school (I think), brought in a rucksack. He handed out blank index cards, and he placed one on each students desk. He told them to write down what is weighing them down, bothering the most. He only had a few rules and they were:
Be entirely honest
Be serious, no jokes or memes
And don’t write your name, it must stay anonymous.
He told them to write down the thing that keeps them up at 3 in the morning. The thing whether good or bad that you cannot stop thinking about. So they did, and they folded the index cards and put them in the rucksack one at a time. And when they were done, the teacher mixed up the rucksack and pulled the first one out, so that everyone could help carry the weight of this burden. The first one read “My dad lost his job a month ago. Now he just sits in his car in a parking lot thinking. I fear we will lose our house”. Once the teacher had started talking, there was total silence. There were no glances to guess who had wrote what they did. Everyone listened. He pulled the next one: “I have to carry Narcan in my backpack everyday now. I found my mom blue and near lifeless when I came home from school a week ago. I had to save her life”. The classroom’s silence was undisturbed. It felt so solemn. And the next read: “Anytime I go to a movie theater or closed building, I have to check the exit door, in case a shooter appears (I assume this person is in a minority but it is not stated)”. Finally the last one read “I do not want to be here anymore. I am only looking for a sign that I am needed”. There were a few minutes of silence, and finally the school bell rang. And slowly everyone got up to file out of the classroom, and as they passed the rucksack filled with their burdens each student voluntarily patted it, acknowledging what they had heard was weighing down everyone else.

I found this to be pretty deep honestly. It kinda humbled me in a way, because we are ALL so blessed to be where we are now, even if you don’t think much of it. The message in the end was “Be kind to everyone, for you do not know what weighs them down”.

And personally, while I agree war isn’t always good and there will be a lot of fatalities, I’m feeling pretty good about us going to war with Iran. They have always kinda been like that one little bully in the back that doesn’t really talk much but if you upset them, they would gladly do their best to get you back even worse. The people in Iran are happy with all of this so it’s kinda a win-win imo, except for the terrible rulers lol. This is all so crazy and it’s literally just like Top Gun Maverick. I’m still surprised they didn’t retaliate when we first bombed their nuclear bunker.

Thanks for clearing this up @BritishUnity because I was kinda confused initially reading Aries’ post. I hadn’t heard orders to stay inside anywhere. Again, they would’ve had true nukes in about 2 weeks if we hadn’t done anything so it makes sense, and it’s good, that both parties would back Trumps decision to deal with Iran sooner rather than later. Well I decided to watch A Silent Voice. In the beginning, Shoya Ishida kinda pisses me off because he is such a [censored] to Shouko Nishimiya, who is deaf, but he eventually stops himself from bullying her like everyone else does. I don’t want to give too many spoilers, I’d rather you watch it yourself or ask me in DMs. But after I finished that, I was speechless. It was not your typical movie, that was a full on EXPERIENCE. Like it almost feels like you’re there kinda. I might be overplaying or underplaying it but that’s more than a 10/10 in my book, taking the #1 place for my favorite movie of all time.

There are some scenes that cover the characters attempt at self harm because of depression and social anxiety that are really gut wrenching to watch because you get to love the characters so much, but in the end, it ties together the deep emotion of the anime as a whole.

Yeah I’d say it’s not as much the colors as it is the intention. Not saying people shouldn’t express themselves, just that doing it in a place you know opposes it feels more like stirring the pot than anything. It’s kinda like putting metal music on blast in a library; you know it’s not the place for it, so it feels more like provoking than just expressing yourself. That’s just my opinion as a Christian.
