Why are we romanticizing depression??But let's not derail
-
Why are we romanticizing depression??@den And that's okay :3 Exactly why I said it was a communication issue, every person is going to interpret it differently
-
Why are we romanticizing depression??It was a communication issue that started your argument
-
Why are we romanticizing depression??@den The issue with what Aries did was saying "I sound awful saying this but, I think people like to claim they're 'depressed' for attention" as an accusation rather than calmly stating the topic
-
Why are we romanticizing depression??@den Yeah well, everyone including those with depression naturally strive for some kind of gratification. If they're doing that they likely have other problems, and while I do agree with it being offensive, talking to a person in private about that is the proper way to handle it
-
Why are we romanticizing depression??Anywho, if I see bickering this is getting locked, if you disagree, just be friendly about it, alright? I know it's a touchy topic but you guys are mature enough to discuss it without problems
-
Why are we romanticizing depression??If you guys want my two cents on the situation, if you suffer from depression and dislike people who play pretend, then I think you should probably be for sure that they're playing pretend before you do anything. But if you aren't suffering or diagnosed, mind your own business, if the people who are being mocked don't care, you shouldn't start fights for no reason. But the issue with calling people pretenders without confirmation, is the fact that depression isn't something with set symptoms. One person might deflect or act over the top while the other might lose motivation and act more down, one person might sleep in, while the other might not sleep at all. Depression can come in MANY different ways and you CANNOT eyeball it, not even a psychologist can for sure call you depressed without questioning you or testing you in some way, so it is unfair to make a callout post when you yourself don't know the circumstances.

why do you hate ai?Allow me to summarize what most of these are going to round up to regardless of length. "It overused water to the point lakes slowly drain regardless of if it comes back with rain.", "It harms the environment in this way or that.", or " It steals work/steals from hardworking creators. " This is my guess though, all of those are reasonable.
In my eyes, I think AI should be more focused on the TOOL part of it, it wouldn't use as much water or cause as much damage if people weren't have friendly conversation with it, Gemini summarizing searches and giving the sources is a great example of what I like in AI. But we either need a better way to cool it and run it, or we need to make it so that it doesn't do a bunch of dumb extra stuff which requires more cooling and therefore more resources. If you're going to argue it still needs cooled when not doing work, my argument would be that it's slowed enough to the point it isn't causing as much environmental harm, PLENTY of things use water as coolant and AI being one of those isn't bad for it, the issue is how much it has to use, reducing that would help its case a lot even if you don't remove it out right.
(Also if we could make it so AI art didn't exist simply to run less resources it'd help a lot, I feel AI workers could still make it for learning analysis but, normal people don't need that kind of thing. I personally don't care for the training as the AI still draws independently regardless of how many things it was trained on, but it would fix that too.)

Who wins? 1,000 woman? or 500 men?If they're average women vs average men I think it depends largely on how the battle is set up, if the men are in a good position, I think an average male COULD take 2 average females, but if the women form clusters and play on number advantage and the men can't handle it quickly enough or most aren't able to enter the fight easily, that's probably game. This is strictly if everyone is average though, if we have a bunch of varying people, it depends on the people more than the position or battle formation.

Dependence and IndependenceIndependence starts the moment you start developing relationships with people aside from family members. Your decisions with those people are ultimately going to be independent of others and well, emotional dependence can develop depending on the person. This is one form of independence and I believe it to be the first most will experience if they grow up in a caring household. Otherwise in terms of providing and surviving, I think learning how to cook or just do basic "around the house things" is the first large step for independence

Just sum ideas for features@_Izzy_ The topic of Republicans came up on a memorial post and then people immediately got in a big fight that was like 20+ posts long, I don't trust the DNS community. Also, like you said, they're undereducated and exposed only to negative opinions on both sides </3
-
Just sum ideas for featuresAlthough I do like the concept for things like maybe religion or something you're embarrassed over
-
Just sum ideas for featuresIf I said I loved Trump on an account and you guys didn't know it was me, I'd get flamed and people would start fighting about it (Then moderation would be forced to mass mute or ban)

Just sum ideas for features@denji Politics create drama, judgement isn't the issue </3
