inspired by @orbital ) Mickey Mouse wasnt the first character Walt Disney created. Before Mickey,there was Oswald The Lucky Rabbit! Oswald was a rabbit that had a lucky foot. The cartoons were originally made by walt when he worked at universal,so universal owned them. but in 20- something,we traded a espn sports broadcaster for the rights to Oswald The Lucky Rabbit. So if you ever see a black rabbit in blue shorts..thats Oswald! Mickey's older brother.
