If you were suddenly given a gigantic amount of money, what would you do with it?

Good evening. I hadn't posted any topic since my introduction, so I figured why not do another one, to start up some much needed proper discourse. Anyways, to get straight to the point, if I were suddenly given, let's say €50 billion, here is what I would do:

⁂ Modestly spend my money. That is the most important step in this situation. I cannot go out splurging all of it on useless niche items, or throwing it around like sweets at a wedding.
⁂ Purchase a large cosy cabin high up in the Alps, or build one myself. Quite the relaxing spot to spend the rest of my days. Very peaceful, and the fresh mountain air is very healthy, not to mention the breathtaking scenery. Of course, the cabin would be furnished with only the highest quality furniture, and it would all be an elegant shade of viridian.
⁂ Along with the cabin, I would also purchase a few antique tea sets, along with a rich variety of teas, all which would go in a special sanctuary in my cabin, specifically for that collection, acting as some sort of tea museum.
⁂ Donate some of my money to well-respected charities. It would feel rather inelegant hoarding all that wealth to myself.
⁂ Visit many places all around the globe. One cannot say they have had a proper life if they have not been to some of the ancient gems like the pyramids in Egypt or the ruins of the South American civilisations. And, no, the US is not on my bucket list, if any Americans here are wondering.
⁂ Open up a café. It would be open only on Saturdays, serving only the best teas, scones, coffee, biscuits, cakes, you name it. It would have a special quiet corner for those who wish to spend their time in peace, but, of course, also a corner for conversation. After a long work week or school week, who wouldn't sit down and get their mind off things for a little while?

There are many more things I would like to do, but I have to cap it off somewhere. Look forward to hearing from others.

I would spend it all on just collectable items that make me happy probably take the money and move into a temporally living space I would definitely spoil my friends with gifts

Heh..let's think about this..what if I spend some of it on all my hyperfixations..that prolly take a million away, but I also need to buy a house or storage unit to fit it all in.. that'd probably cost about another 1-2 million give, or take...holy shat, thats a lot of money. Ykw, I'll be kind and donate 10 million of it to various charities.

I'd give the vast majority of it to my Dad, he can buy a house for us all and better food, clothes etc then i'll save like £50 and go to Primark, buy makeup, clothes etc and go get loads of sweets. I'm too young for responsible decisions, what do you really expect? ':3

@Sup3rSwaggyy1983 Millions is nothing when you have billions in disposal. You could buy that a hundred times over and it would not make a dent. Your input is appreciated.

@YourAriesBestie Awh, that is quite a nice way to spend your money. I like that. And, no need to worry. I also am quite financially irresponsible. Before you know it, all of my money would disappear because I would still not be able to control my tea shopping spree.

[get an uber to Ohio to go see Soly, get a switch 2, a metaquest, a better life, few hundred luck charms since im unlucky as hell, donate some to rmhc and other places, give some to my parents, grandparents, and mom, get a lille cozy cabin in the woods, and hope my life is better <33]

I would form a funding program that help scientists study gamma waves and the study of weapons so it can go 2 ways.

1: Ray-Guns becoming and actual thing

2: The whole study transforms into the study of teleportation

Now since its 50 billion pounds (UK Currency) (also rest in peace for the people online there in the UK) i would pretty much spen my way to get a V.I.P tour of the tourist attractions in the UK like the Big Ben Clocktower and possibly try out some fish n chips.

Like when @Idyll said "it would be rather inelegant to hoard all of that wealth to myself" i pretty much would just donate to Cancer Researchers since my Aunt died from Cancer back in 2020 (god bless her soul) so that way fatal deaths can be further prevented from happening
