Added webp/avif, and doubled uploaded file size restrictions. There is going to be a tradeoff here though-- we don't want it get too high for any user to upload large files. Maybe large file uploads can be put behind rep requirements / a group in the future.

when i try to put in a link for a profile picture it doesn't work when i do the search image function it only ai images and will only accept ai images
so i can't have my pfp -
we need a better way to change our pfps on the switch. The image selection is extremely outdated and has nothing really usable.

@NightmareWolfie well, unfortunately i think the shitposting ban and the issue of a banned user is the issue. if we can't find a good compromise we will lose over half our userbase tbh. i think a thing to keep in mind is, the Internet and Internet culture as a whole is based around satire, memes, and the aforementioned ''shitpost'' and by banning that it wil upset people greatly. i really don't have much other to say than we should find a way to reckonsile this before we lose literally everyone and try to improve the PR sorounding the administration and moderators too.

just a little pet peeve but can you add more supported file types for the uploading system? i know its not even close to the most important issues but i feel like it would be nice to add

Could you make a specific thing where ban appeals could be sent? I know there's the category but you can't really post while you're banned. Email's also an option, but it becomes a problem for switch users who can't use most email providers. Maybe like a form or something

@Aries thinking about this it is possible to create forum category only visable to banned users and admin/mods would that be enough or would we prefer a form type arrangement that posts/emails ?

I have two things, one being some of the user's maturity, like I often find myself wondering if they're actually underage. Second one being the fact that I was fired and the closest explanation I got was 'it's confidential'. I'm not blaming this on the person that told me this considering that's all they were told too, but surely it shouldn't be confidential considering it's to do with me? Like, imagine getting expelled from school and not even being told why. I'm sorry if I sound like i'm being picky here, but I was told to be honest and this is how i'm feeling

maybe because we arent telling you for your sake
Or maybe because it isnt necessarily private and there's a chance someone else would see it??

I mean, even if it really hurt me I would still prefer to know because at least i've got that clarity. I'm always open to being emailed if there is a risk, I don't mind. Thanks for responding btw, didn't think of these
