ik that ive been inactive and this question was prob already answered.
idk in my opinion we should bring em back, bc smtimes its better to downvote smth than to reply w a negative comment, and sometimes the negativity needs to be there for a person to learn that their words/actions werent appreciated.

@Eggyz999 nahhh i dont like that the downvotes are gone i like that they're gone cause people were abusing them for some people but i feel there could've been some work around lol but removing them is still great

Unfortunately there really isn't a work around on people abusing downvotes. It was multiple individuals just downvoting posts for absolutely no reason, well, only because they didn't like whoever they were downvoting.

@Maditalian yeah thought there might be something to where u can only downvote like certain times a day or anything like that (if that's even possible) but removing the main course of the issue is the easiest solution lol still though I'm happy people aren't losing all there rep

There is a feature for that @BritishUnity837, but just because we do that will not change the fact multiple people are downvoting posts for no reason. Even if I enabled that feature, we'd have the same issue because the downvotes from each individual user combine.

@Eggyz999 There isn't a way to ban users from downvoting and there really isn't a need for it other than you trying to lower someones reputation points.
Regardless, I will not be adding it back and keeping up with the downvotes on posts is just a waste of time.

@Eggyz999 There used to be a feature when users under 50 rep couldn't downvote but I think it was removed and it's really easy to get to 50 rep, most users will just have friends upvote spam them in the DMS :P
