College? (QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS PLSS)

I'm going to be going into college soon and I was curious if any of the older users on here have applied/are in college OR have graduated and if you could give me some advice Like how to apply for scholarships, roommates, majors, classes, etc.

Me and my bf are planning on applying at the same college, and I was just curious if you guys knew about how or if we could be roommates a dorm or if colleges didn't allow that.

I'm planning on going to western washington university, because I like that side of the state, and Seattle is only like an hour and a half drive away from there unless you take a ferry I think.

I have a 3.2500 transcript GPA, I have only failed 1 class ever, and my current trimester GPA is 3.8, I'm working on getting some extracurriculars to put into my transcript. I have some but they are not through school, I have done such things as volunteer work, scouting, improv classes, etc.

IDK if you have questions that would help you to answer mine please ask them.

Oh yeah and I'm thinking about majoring in either Journalism, Chemistry or Biology (With the hopes of being a forensic investigator), or Marketing.

@Eggyz999 I'm not college age nor do I know anyone who either has or does study at an American college but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't let you share a dorm with the opposite gender, but i'm sure it depends with certain colleges
