@Angie.dfwy why don't you just leave, and if you bought it its legally yours and you could possibly get your parents into legal trouble for taking it. though, im fortunate to have a place to go the second im 18, im not sure your situation

i personally am ready to lose contact with my mom, she's insane and im not one of those idiots who will justify someones sick behavior just bc they got adhd & bipolar (what my mom has) and especially if ik damn well they're not gonna change. i think burning bridges with family should definitely be less tabo you know?

(note that i had multiple paragraphs writen up but the windos closed) My parents wont let me a phone or go out without them present and i just need advice on what to do. Im am not allowed on phones because on a incident that happened actual years ago. (inquire if you want) Ive been homeschooled most of my teenage life (7th-10th) I was allowed to go to highschool for 11th grade but was pulled out due to quote "people causing me to be moe rebelious". During my time at highschool i was unable to date/ have friends outside of school due to not having a phone. (worth noting that ive actually never dated anyone in my life so...)
@notacc0rd the not havcing friends cause of school thats just a lie harder yes impossible no I hade to pay for my oqwn phone wasnt even allowed to do thar for year i was only allowe4d a re4ally old phone no social media no friends does it suck yes however it is not impossible never yell yourself that when you turn 18 they cant do anything if u move out however u need ways if u have access to this u have some access to the internet use what you have is the most i can say

i'll tell ya rn, at least where i live, you can get a loaner mac book from the library, but you only get it 6 months and if you break it you buy it. otherwise, you pay nothing. you can use that to look for resources and such to help you figure out what to do when all of you move out

@Angie.dfwy yeah well how olds your brother?'cause you are in your 20's living in your parents room my parents the second I turn 18 they're iffy if I turn 20 in there house unless I'm in college they are tossing me into the street or being an asshole to me till I leave and I respect it (don't know if that's your situation it's probably not) if my parents do that it'd be fine lol
