@SSL98071 meeting yourself could be a canon event, so you wouldnt have, but if its not, you can't fix it and no one knowx what happens

time for more paradox shit, so to elaborate on previous posts,
- as an example of a paradox, if you go back in time and stop your parents from meeting, you could not have existed. but if you couldn't exist, how did you stop your parents from meeting?
- you can change events in the future without causing a paradox, because if you change what happens in the future but it doesn't affect you in ANY WAY, canon can be changed without causing any paradoxes, but because of that you can't even know that you were changing it, because if, say, you wanted to stop john lennon from being assassinated, and you do it, then you would've had no reason to even fathom the idea of stopping john from being assassinated because he never did. you would cause a paradox. but if you just happened to stop the assassination accidentally, and you never even knew that john was assassinated, then you would change the future without doing so. in non conspiracy theory terms, if you stop something that you know will happen while being aware of what you're doing, you will cause a paradox.
- canon events are things that have happened on a timeline, and, if you let a timeline run without interference (events being changed by time travelers), it WILL happen consistently. however, time travel can be a canon event if the cycle repeats, ex. you (22) meet a younger you (5), but when five year old you grows up and reaches age 22, they go back in time and meet themselves from when they were 5 years old, and so on and so on.
