lets say I want to post a YouTube video of an animation I made for school bc I cannot post video files (unsure how exactly i'd upload a GIF file for this) assuming it does not contain anything NSFW and i'm not begging for subs, would this be considered ok? also, what sites are we allowed to post links to (obviously NOTHING that's spam or NSFW) like, lets say I have a really good weather website for switch users, I'm not sponsored or anything of the such and i'm trying to share a useful site, i'd assume that'd be alright but ik I have seen where that has gotten posts deleted recently and I remember something about only being able to share other forum sites.

Ideally, as long as you aren't promoting or advertising your own social media page or sharing your account username in the Public chats (#shoutbox for example) or in Threads & Posts. These kind of things are only allowed to be shared via DMs or stored on your profile.
As far as forum communities, yes, you are permitted to share them as long as you aren't mass-advertising it. You are considered to be mass-advertising when you have posted the forum/chat room link in multiple areas of the site, repeatedly and non-stop. For example, you posted these links in a thread, sent it to multiple people in DMs, and also sent it inna public chat room multiple times.
Obviously, if you need any further clarifications, feel free to ask again.
