what editing app is the best for subtitles?

I'm currently making a video essay for YouTube and or newgrounds, it's likely going to be 15+ minutes long and i'm using a TTS voice for it.
(I wanna clarify I'm using a text to speech voice, not an AI voice. TTS has been around long before AI, and sounds much different as well. so y'all don't smite me for that 🥹)
since it's a TTS voice, it sounds extremely like, robotic and creepy and it cannot pronounce some words properly and it ends up making absolutely no sense at some points.
I don't want an AI to give the video subtitles, I want an editing software that'll be good at adding subtitles manually that actually sync up with the audio I have so at the very least will pop up when the lovely robot lady is incapable of speaking a word or at the most the entire video will be subtitled with accurate, well synced sub titles.
i have used KineMaster in the past on this laptop, one of the very few apps from the google play store to run on my laptop, but it's not really the best, i'll use it if nessecery but if y'all have your own preferences for video editing, please tell me >.< !

honestly tiktok as the font is basic and looks nice and you have an option to add an outline. but, if ur using a font from like dafonts or something, then capcut
