A short understatement would be like this
"Big companies larp all over AI for revenue while the others suffer"

@KiwiFarmsArkavel also summarizing a issue like this like that isn't really understandable unless you already 100% know what's happening (i had to read that like 10 times in a row to understand the 'larp'), plus it makes the issue seem not as serious as it is.

It's a huge problem sure, but it shouldn't be that much to the point of someone giving a 25 pages essay about how horrible our existence is
@KiwiFarmsArkavel also its not really our entire 'existence', by saying that our existence is simply horrible with no way out of it, it completely discourages action. There are multiple things people can do to combat this and make their lives better, but they just dont for some reason personal to them.

The backrooms movie is a really good representation of how most people feel right now tbh. Like the feeling of being stuck in a terrible place with seemingly no way out, despite the fact that they can usually do something about it themselves instead of relying on others to help it get better
