Rule Update!

@UnpaidIntern not necessarily my point, I know what spawnism is. Its just that Christianity (just an example) has been used throughout years to harm. Whether it'd be killing someone or persecuting them for who they are, it's not all that different in that sense that it targets people at their lowest points. Its not about the original intention of something, it's about how it affects people.
Also, that was just a certain discord server where some creep was doing that, not spawnism as a whole, but it's understandable that it leaves a bad taste in people's mouths when it's mentioned with that kind of reputation. Spawnism at its core beliefs is basically js smth that means rebirth or whatever,, and doesn't force you to carve yourself or any of that bs. I'm not even a spawniet myself lmao, I js think that's its stupid to ban something as a whole when it's just a small percentage of the userbase being annoying about it. Hell, I even think it's stupid myself, but I'm not gonna go and attack you for it or wtvr
@w1ckedsticky1983 Yeah exactly, it's about how it affects people, not its original intention. Unlike spawnism, Christianity has actually been used for good sometimes. Christianity has been used to encourage morality and has given hope when truly needed. You also mentioned how spawnism at it's core beliefs is about rebirth, but that also falls under original intention and not actual effects (you kinda conflicted with yourself there). Plus, if original intention suddenly matters, Christianity at its core encourages people to be decent human beings and forbids killing people or persecuting people for who that are. Spawnism's only actual effects has been discord servers ran by creeps, the harming of children, and encouraging children to join random online cults. Attacking other people is also never okay regardless, i'm not saying to do that or even do anything tbh.

Greetings everyone
I have heard a lot about a Spawnism ban, and after discussion with Raven we have decided to unban it. However, given the site's history with it, we decided to set some guidelines to help keep order, especially given Spawnism's complex history. All of the rules in this announcement will apply to all religions to maintain equality. To help those who dislike reading blocks, I will put the new changes in list format:
1. No derailing non-related posts with religious statements or it will result in increased punishment if there is a report
2. No religious speak can discuss self harm or sexual behavior. If you wish to discuss those topics, it is to be done in a casual manner or preferably in DMs. Also cannot be in the topic.
3. No attempting to spread religion. Raven mentioned there were a couple users who were derailing and attempting to spread beliefs and that could easily make people uncomfortable.
4. This one is the most important. NO RELIGION IN PUBLIC CHATS, ONLY TOPICS AND POSTS IN TOPICS RELATED TO IT.
With all of this said, please behave yourselves. Thank you!
@NightmareWolfie
Thank you Wolfie and Raven!
I don't know much about this as I haven't seen or experienced that. But! I appreciate you for seeing
the community, and our feelings.
