Ok, so, I really like this one guy but idk what I should do.

Yesterday at the football game it was P, L (crush), the trombone section leader J, and myself. I was sitting next to L and I was messing with P and it got to a point where L was just sitting there confused while I was messing with P because he was super close to telling L for me. L kept making really dirty jokes to P and I was just laughing because that was so out of character and just really funny to hear HIM of all people talking like that. P kept looking at me and then L and just doing that back and forth and I was about to yell at him when L asked, "why are you so mad at him?" And I just kind of laughed and P said, "I know why, don't worry about it." A little while longer into the game J and I started ballroom dancing because it was funny, and I (naturally because I'm so smooth) asked P to dance and then asked L to dance (they both said no ). P was giving me the, "I see you and him" look and I shouted, "STOP LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT! YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO LOOK AT ME!" L leaned over and went, "yeah, but I am! I'm looking at you right now!" I responded without a second thought with, "You can, I could care less." P started laughing I pulled him to where he was the only one who could hear me and I was like, "WHAT are you laughing at?!" "Dude you fold so easily this is so hard!" "Hard for you?! I don't want to hear it!" I told J that they said no and he went, "woooow, heterophobia in the big ’26 is crazy" and I started doing that, "hahaha you have no idea" laugh. I don't remember how this got brought up but L and P started talking about types, I was there talking to J and all I hear is P and L going back and forth. P; “Well, I know you’re SOME peoples type.” L; “Really? What’s my type?” P; “L— I- I don’t know that’s not up to me, that’s up to you!” L and I were also touching legs and our faces kept getting really close when we were messing with P. Oh and also! Before the game P and I were waiting outside for L and he said, “dude, do I HAVE to be out here?” “Yes, I am not going to be out here by myself waiting for him! That’s weird.” “Just ask him out!” “He’s in a giant blowup chicken suit, absolutely not!” “You chose this!” “Ok, and? We both know I have terrible taste.” “I want to go inside.” “You know who I want? I mean, uhm, WHAT I want!! P STOP LAUGHING!! I’m going inside.” I ran inside, sat down, and put my face in my hands. I looked up to P coming in laughing his a// off and he was like, “I am never let that go.” L and I also held each other’s hands and did a little dance like, twice, and P looked at us like, “mmmhmmmmmm…” Also, a couple weeks ago, L showed me Relient K. It’s my favorite band right now and he keeps BULLYING me about the fact that I won’t and can’t stop talking about them and listening to them. We’re also gonna make a few songs together when I learn the bass which I’m so excited for!! ALSO!! OH MY GOD L ALMOST HAD TO TAKE ME HOME AFTER THE GAME! My mom wasn’t there and I didn’t know if she was going to be there to take me home and I almost started crying. L said that he didn’t know if his mom could take me home. I would’ve asked my senior friend to drive me home but my mom doesn’t want high schoolers driving me home. When I said that he went, “I’m gonna call my mom, I’ll be right back.” He called his mom and got the OK. He and I were waiting on the curb for his mom (I was trying not to cry) when he was like, “uh, is that your mom's car?” I looked up and I see her jeep. I was like, “holy shit. Dude, if I knew she was here I wouldn’t have had you do that. I’m so sorry. Uhm, thank you, goodnight!” We did like a little awkward hug thing because I went to give him a hug but I pulled back because he wasn’t expecting it but then he like, leaned in so it was a really quick and weird thing. I was so embarrassed the rest of the night. So, there’s that :’]

We also like the same type of music, have the same favorite colors (green, purple, and blue), have corresponding zodiacs (Leo and Libra), he acts differently around me (kind of, idk, dumber? Like, sillier and kind of touchy [not in an inappropriate way or I would kick his a//]). He also remembers a lot of little things about me, like, when we were on the way to marching band showcase he wanted to show me some music he made, but he offered for me to connect my headphones to his iPad because he knew I didn’t like earbuds (that same trip I may or may not have fallen asleep on him). He also goes out of his way to make me laugh or make me feel better about myself (for example, yesterday my snake passed and he tried making me laugh all night, and when he sat down and then I sat down after him [coincidence] he said that he noticed that we copy each other a lot and that I need to be more confident and just do what I want without worrying about other people’s opinions. He’s also said before that I need to stop caring about what people think and just not get so embarrassed or be so self conscious and just let myself have fun [we were dancing in the stands during a game and I stopped because I got embarrassed]). He’s also made a reference to a song we both like (Sadie Hawkins Dance by Relient K) and asked me if I liked his sweater (in the song, the narrator is going to the Sadie Hawkins Dance and asks his date if she likes his sweater) so I was like, “Uh, ok then” (What I actually told him is that I did like his “sweater” which was actually a hoodie because 1. I did like it and 2. Idk how else I was supposed to respond to that.) I really do like him but the thing is; I don’t know if he likes me and I don’t want to jump to conclusions, but what’s so weird about that is the psychological cues that he has that literally no one can control. I’ve studied psychology for a while and the way his posture is more open around me, his feet are pointed at me when we’re by each other, small touches, his voice going higher, his eyes being more dilated and him blinking less all point to “he likes me” but I’m still so scared of rejection. And if I’m right and he DOES like me and we DO end up getting together then what about everything after that? I don’t want to get my heart broken again and I’m scared that I’ll open up to him like how I did with my ex and then I’ll have a broken heart again. But uhhh, that’s pretty much it to be honest.
