I was woken up in the middle of the night after I had fallen asleep and my headphones slid off my head, causing the load ahh music playing to be heard through them, resulting in my foster mom coming in to scream at me to turn it off... I lwk need any slip of sleep I can get..

So, lately, I've noticed that when I sense a threat/danger or get really anxious, my FFF SPIKES (like it should).

But... Lets be real, if I was ever in a life-threatening , I'd probably be the first one dead. Why? BECAUSE MY IMMEDIATE RESPONSE IS TO FREEZE. And I'll stay still until I can FULLY understand what is happening. There have been times where I have stood still for about 10 MINUTES trying to figure out what the hell just happened.

Like today for example;
I had just gotten out of the shower and was walking past the laundry closet. I had saw the shirts hanging up ahead of time, but I guess my mind take that in quick enough. So, when I actually got to my room and went to go shut my door, I saw those fuckass shirts in the corner of my eyes AND FROZE UP BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT WAS SOMETHING ELSE. I stood there for about 3-5 mins, trying to register what the hell that was..

I'D BE DEAD. Like, I think what's more scarier is my immediate response to surrender/freeze rather than the ACTUAL threat.
