Long ago, the mod team had voted to remove them and the fake mod badges, etc. We removed them, they just keep getting added back. It's not that huge of an issue until it genuinely creates confusion, so we haven't really deleted them much.

If there is still banned badges.. they were added after I removed them. I spent over an hour going through over 500 groups and deleting the ones like that plus ones that were against our rules at the time.

I can not confirm if they were having an issue with the Captcha on switch, therefore, I can not really look into it without knowing.
