Hm no, I draw digitally and traditionally, but it’s cool that you draw pixel art
If you think about it, all digital art has pixels, so all digital art is pixel art. Literally Einstein.

#3. Hyperpop is the way to go. I love that genre!

Reason: Are you sure?
@Forsaknbe Yu-Gi-Oh! ref real???
I fuckin HATE when people say entire franchises are corny and cringe because the media has an underlying message. Like ok I get it Yu-Gi-Oh isn't the most mature show on the planet but FUUUCK people just hate when their dark and gritty show isn't just about card games.
Also shock value shit like The Boys is terrible, and even worse when people take a kids show like Clone Wars and say it's dark as hell and have a one-man blunt rotation about how dark it is
Toby Fox x Toby Fox is canon
@_Izzy_ The silent downdooter always strikes at the best post.
@FlavPlaz45129 I've seen both shows and watched a Game Theory on the games
I would beat both at the same time with my eyes closed
*Don't hate on real people or groups of people. I don't know why I need to say this but I don't want this topic locked or people getting muted/banned. Just hate on fictional things.
@_Izzy_ Just to be clear, I meant to say that beyblade and bakugan are the other similar shows that some kids chose instead of pokemon, to say they were "branching out" or something. That is my fault.
Godzilla's problem is hitting the bees, but he doesn't even need to since they die when they sting. Godzilla probably wouldn't even notice them.
more like 5 trillion bees. 5000 people is miniscule to godzilla, so 5000 bees is easy
@_Izzy_ Comparing a bad show to worse shows to say it's good is a terrible way to debate a topic, especially when we're talking about pokemon, which has been milked to hell and back. I'll compare it to similar shows for younger audiences instead. Beyblade, for example. While pokemon has the better character writing, beyblade battles are objectively faster-paced and make sense, and considering the fact that they are literal spinning tops proves pokemon to be horrid. Bakugan is another one that kids back in the day chose instead of pokemon or yugioh, and while i hate bakugan, the soundtrack is so well-done it makes pokemons dub tracks sound like raggae music made by a Scandinavian.
Yu-Gi-Oh! is also similar, but I won't go in to much detail as to why it's better, check my pfp, but yeah, no contest.
For me, it's Spectre from Yu-Gi-Oh! VRains. The way the writers make him really seem psychopathic and a masochist is interesting, his deck and strategies are unique, and him being the first one to create the Ultimate Extra Link is mind boggling. If only he had more time to shine. He was carrying that show.
Honorable mentions would be Fugo and Jolyne, both from JoJo.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Yu-Gi-Oh! ZeXal
I think the anime community has been too focused on animation rather than writing.
This isn't just about the community, this changes the standard for anime production. Looking at 3D CGI examples like the newest Fist of The North Star or Berserk, it shows that 3D animation isn't recieved as well, even when it isn't the entire show. And Fist of The North Star Hokuto no Ken has a great story that people ignore for the 2d hand-drawn animation, which wouldn't be a problem if the hand-drawn anime didn't have objectively lazy writing (Solo Leveling) but still get all the hype.
Hokuto no Ken is also judged as an adaptation alone, not even as it's own show, which, as someone who has only seen Hokuto no Ken and not the older version, it feels like it completely erases my opinion of the story to everyone else.
It feels like even without 3d animation, the anime scene has become animation focused now, and newer shows coming out like Steel Ball Run are forced to cater to the "One Piece peak fiction" side of the fandom. What are your guys' thoughts?
