me and my bf honestly share our opinions on your taste in anime (TW: vry biased possibly rude)

[MyMelody]

@ev.sebastian basic but decent nonetheless, i havnt watched the show yet but i plan too, im not rlly into shonen rn bc once youve seen a few you've rlly seen em all, i plan to check this one out soon tho

[MyMelody]

@spwnchild i used to like MLP when i was little and im not rlly one to judge ppl for liking kids shows if its for the right reasons
nothing to say abt sailor moon bc everyone should like it it's amazing (i only read the manga rn tho, anime is more for younger audiences based off what i have watched)

[MyMelody]

im hesitant to reply to some of these bc i actually plan on watching alot of these i the future and kinda wana wait till i get to judge them completely TvT

[unemmber]

@_Izzy_ Uhhhhhh the

[tyler_x]

The Promised Neverland?

[MyMelody]

@w1ckedsticky1983 hmm thats kinda gay

[w1ckedsticky1983]

@_Izzy_ there's more to it than just the gay undertones.. I swear... ️ It feels just like a pat on the head 🥺 (pls get the ref [if not, watch the anime there's not a whole lot of episodes and they're easy to get through])

[MyMelody]

@willoftheworld cool concept but supposedly terrible execution, if this is your fav them i think ur taste is mid:P i wanted to watch the show but i heard it never even gets scary fr

[MyMelody]

@w1ckedsticky1983 i actually do plan on watching it myself soon! i saw a clip online that was pretty creepy

[ShuriKitty]

@_Izzy_ Should've said that for JoJo

[MyMelody]

@CH3SI so im in my romance anime era and i know this show is popular but nothing ive heard abt it has rlly like caught my attention besides the girl being really pretty, and my bf said its just a corny self insert romance which makes me worry that is genuinely generic or nothing special but i might check out a few episodes myself though i heard its fan servicy and i hate fanservice in anime when its exclusively women being sexualixed which im assuming dress up darling is doing :/

i do like romance tho and the manga is prolly better then the anime im assuming

[tyler_x]

@_Izzy_ yeah you prob right lol im not super into anime and of the ones ive seen, this was my favourite but i understand where youre coming from. I think the manga was better than the anime tho

[ladiesman217]

i like cute shows (peak male performance fr)

bocchi the rock, k-on, lucky star etc r sum of my favs

[MyMelody]

@sweetpuddin i was gonna make fun of you but that lucky star one looks soooo cute i have to watch it sometime-
the first two look too childish for my liking, but i play guitar so ill probably give em a chance one day

[MyMelody]

@r0s4_p4st3l wtf is this show even about? TvT

[Yanderemenhera]

there's a short anime called kill me baby! it's basically a simple slice of life mild comedy about an assassin befriending a stupid goudere and it's based off of a manga that reminds me of Garfield comic strips. I watched it once when I was 14 and it was nice

[MyMelody]

@Yanderemenhera that sounds interesting ngl but not like something i'd personally enjoy

[ladiesman217]

@_Izzy_ k-on is seinen, not shojo
very misleading ik
the show itself is def childish yeah but ts was released in a seinen magazine therefore it sorta falls into that category according to some
thats also one of the main reasons why so many k-on fans r nazis (not me dw)

[MyMelody]

@sweetpuddin bruh i associate seinen with like perverted men so its always so annoying when i see a seemingly cute show for girls under that genre (like project magical girl raising though that story is dark it was about magical girls and only had one male character who immediately died and the characters backstories showed struggles women in japan may face)

idk if im misunderstanding what the genre means tho:P

[ladiesman217]

@_Izzy_ yeah thas why its a lil weird, yur right though
