A chilling dance in the dead of fall.

Night drapes its cloak, a thickened air,
Eyes like embers, deep with despair,
The hollow wind sings a mournful tune,
Beneath the gaze of a vengeful moon.

Lost souls wander through fields of dread,
Counting the words that remain unsaid,
In the depths of dark, their secrets keep,
Where dreams lie shallow, and shadows seep.

Each breath a ghost, each heartbeat a sigh,
In the cradle of night, the light starts to die,
Whispers entwined with the roots of fear,
In this somber realm, the end draws near.

So tread softly on this haunted ground,
Where the echoes of the past forever resound,
For in darkness, truths reveal their face,
And the heart of the night holds a whispered embrace.
