Hello! I am Ezra(irl name), Known online as Apollo! As some of you may know, I have a service dog! Today, I will be teaching you about her and why I have her.
About her!
Her name is cupid!
She is a blonde goldendoodle! (golden retriever and poodle mix)
She's 4 years old
She is very silly and crazy whenever shes not working. -w-
She is very affectionate and sweet! She loves cuddles and belly rubs ^w^Why Do I Have Her?
I have her because I have many chronic illnesses.
My Illnesses I Have.
POTS
Epilepsy
Panic Attacks
Anxiety AttacksAbout My Illnesses
POTS - a chronic illness that involves nausea, dizziness, headaches, and fainting whenever you stand up and or stand up for to long.
Epilepsy- I have seizures whenever I see flashig lights. Some experiences with epilepsy are different but that is my experience.
Panic Attacks- A sensation and brief episode of intense anxiety and fear.
Anxiety Attacks - Similar to panic attacks, but it involves shakiness, stuttering, overthinkinghyperventilation, and dizziness.
How Does Cupid Help?
Cupid helps the POTS and anxiety/panic attack episodes by giving me DPT(deep pressure therapy). DPT is a way of calming me and my heart rate down. She sits on top of me and it provides blood flow to my legs,(whenever i faint) and calms me down. Then, she alerts a nearby person to come help me. (usually why i sometimes have my friends or mom bring me places so cupid can alert them.)
