why cancel culture doesn't work

imagine somebody is hurting kids, do you honestly think being told that they'll neve be able to show there face on twitter again will honestly help vs reporting them to the cops? no. no it won't. but lets say there's somebody drawing horror art and they make money from ad revinue and you get them banned from the Internet/they quit from cyber bullying? but like, sure that could work but does junji ito REALLY deserve cyber bullying? over his art? like seriously, its so fucking stupid. sybau canceling somebody isnt gonna do shit. your ether just cyber bullying someone over something fucking dumb or you're tryna get some pred off twitter when they'll just do it regardless and you're wasting time that could be spent better calling the cops.

@st4tic yeah, i also think people discussing serious topics tend to upset them. like, they ignore any TW and regardless if its well written or has a good message, tiktok addicted youngsters without any critical thinking skills cant handle it and just fusses about how the artist is a bad person. its like watching the southpark episode ''ginger kids'' and believing that matt and trey hate ginger children, i think the Internet kinda ruined being an artist discussing serious theams but thats just me tbh.

my favorite Korean horror artist is called jo_spiu on youtube, she does have TW in her content, she does do horror art with heavy theams of mental illness. im genuinely surprised i haven't seen a ''call-out'' video on her yet (she's south Korean obviously, not north...*) i personally struggle with the same stuff a character of hers called ''tineballen'' does, i understand if her content is triggering, but i honestly Wouldn't understand slandering her and telling her to get off the Internet for that.
