Mini Rant on Youtubes new shitty decision

Basically pretty much what happened is that anybody on certain states of the US now has to suffer this message until the person affected by this has to go through the uncomfortable process of giving their data away
What's ironic out of all of this is the fact that YouTube """cares about laws""" despite the concept that has been floating around for a long time now that there are young and impressionable children doing disturbing trends that LEGALLY is not allowed in the slightest.
It's heartbreaking that there's a specific trend in Spanish which promotes early _____ introduction on the platform, I won't say it here cause I don't want everyone to search it up.
But yeah YouTube is being ironic here since there are specific groups and channels that reupload extremely disturbing content while claiming said content is for kids (pretty much just brighten the video and holy shi I'm legitimately scared af)

also. im not against finding ways to protect kids online. but they should probably start with banning popular known predators (like james charles or colleen ballinger) off the site.

And it's all because some lazy entitled snobby parents complain over anything just talking about "oh you people need to protect our kids more"
I'm sorry though but isn't it YOUR responsibility to protect your kid, it's not the Government, it's not the Streaming Companies, Not even the Google Company themselves aren't responsible for it.
It's the parents fault for thinking like this

it is partially on the government. its illegal for children to be viewing s*xual material, which is VERY commonly distributed online, even on apps that dont pdrmit it, so the most a childs parents can do is take away the privledge of having an electronic device -

First it was Roblox (wasnt affected by this since I never played it), Discord (never even had discord before), and now it's YouTube, for once in our incinerative life can we just not be tracked

i think a contribution to the increase of p-dophiles has been the normalized p*do jokes, like making jokes about epsteinanother one is: i believe p*dophilia is considered a "paraphilia" and i would frequently see people on tiktok defending these paraphilias basically saying its ok for people to like kids as long as they dont like... s-xually/romantically interact with them.
paraphilias develop from trauma or mental illness and people would defend literal p-dophiles with the excuse of them being mentally ill and traumatized.
i have met a lot of mentally ill or traumatized people and not one of them liked kids. -
