what IS "polyamorous"? (awnser)

being polyamorous (for short "poly") is defined as being with multiple people romantically at once. this is usially the result of attatchment issues or other reasons to do with the person, as a poly person mine was "i just want to be loved" (thats more of a personal topic i DONT want explination) psychologically and publically it is viewed as "cheating" but.. thats literally the falsest thing i can hear- polyamorous is cheating IF YOU MAKE IT CHEATING, for example: i take steps person allows it. im with a few people and they all know eachother. they arent "with eachother" just aware they exist, which some in a poly DONT do (for some reason) which leads to the "cheating" part- polyamorous has 5 steps to ensure an actual good poly and that is: transparency, trust, equality, truthfulness, loyalty. transparency meaning that you are making sure the others are aware of others, trust is trusting they are truthful, equality is not "picking favorites" truthfulness is being truthful (telling the truth, such as your feelings) and loyalty is being loyal to those you love. poly people ARE able to live a life together
its just rare- and they follow normal relationship dynamics. (the things in a relationship) -
as a poly person, couldnt have said it better, girls at my group therapy were saying what i was doing was wrong n cheating but they couldn't be any more wrong!!
