Time to address vocaloid

Ok so I love electronic music and I've heard of this genre called vocaloid. My friend listens to Miku (he REALLY doesn't look like it) and I want to ask some questions about the genre:

1. Is it similar to artists I listen to (The Living Tombstone, Enigma, Qbomb)?
2. What are some vocaloid songs I could listen to so I can see what the fuss is about?
3. What are some vocaloid artists that most people say are the best?

• Most Vocaloid songs don't just focus on one genre, though they do mostly have "electronic" tendencies such as upbeat SFX and whatnot. I would say they do closely resonate with TLT's theme.

• Any one you've heard a lot about maybe? I'd suggest any Miku or Teto ones to get started. There's a LOT of Vocaloids, so I'd start with the most known/famous ones. It's also important to note that most songs don't belong to just one vocaloid. (Ex: Say there's a song originally created for Miku. You'll probably find HUNDREDS of other Vocaloid covers for that song.)

• I personally like SAWTOWNE and 32ki songs. They are great for starters!!

2. id say Mischievous Function (aka Fukkiretta i think), I'm Talking To You, Song of the Eared Robot, and Machine Love are good songs to start with, especially if you're interested in Teto songs, Static, Confessions of a Rotten Girl, and World is Mine are good to start with if you like Miku, this second answer is too long so uh
3. Jamie Paige, Flavour Foley and Ghost and Pals are the only ones i can think of
