Warm-take: game theory and all of those other channels were only good because of MatPat

I swear to god the newer videos are lowk a$$. They aren’t funny, the theories don’t make a lick of sense (like the newest Deltarune and the TADC theory videos), and they don’t have the same charm and genuine emotion like how MatPat put into his stuff. Sure he’s still there writing the theories but they don’t feel the same. I never really had YouTube so I could watch him very sparingly as a kid (I still did and man oh man did I eat up his FNAF videos), but now that I’m older I re-watch all his stuff. I don’t exactly blame the new owners, especially considering that MatPat changed the internet and YouTube as a whole. So what’s the point of this rant? I don’t know. I guess I just miss the internet when it was actually good. But goddamn Theory Team, LOCK IN. The Sans theory didn’t make any sense so come ON guys.

yeah, I refuse to watch any of the new game/other theory content, it's [censored] and I believe the channel is owned by black rock or another firm now

@Yanderemenhera yea they really threw themselves under the bus. They could’ve gotten better but they just didn’t. They probably went after the money and clicks (they have been called out for click baity stuff)
