bruh im actually sad i love converse, 70% of my shoes are converse, all i wear to school are converse, this one pair of newbalances and nike air jordans
basically theres this converse ad that creates this optical illusion of a Klansmen next to a hanging darkskin person, and ima be real at first i thought ppl were reaching but upon closer inspection like no ts had to be intentional, if you want to know more Antonio Talks is content creator who made a great vid on the subject its only like 10 minutes long and u can find it on youtube:p
anyways pls comment any black owned or just not blatantly r@cist shoe companies yall know that i could look into from now on or companies to avoid:P

im going to continue to wear the converse i already own bc i already paid for them but i plan not to buy anything from them in the future and ill replace the shoe weardrobe with shoes from other companies overtime, my step dad loves Nike so hes probably gonna continue to buy from them anyway TvT

but hmm, I get most of my clothes from thrift shops so i'm not too familiar with brands but I know kill star is a gothic/alt shoe brand i've never heard anything bad about, they've even done collabs with monster high but their stuff is expensive unless you by clearance shoes btw

@Gumi fr all my casual dress up shoes r converse and one pair of air jordans so i literally would only have one pair of sneakerd and two rlly fancy shoes that hurt my feet if i stopped wearing them TvT im pretty sure theres lots of off brand converse-like shoes that be having cuter designs anyways so i might just buy those, small brands tend to be more chill anyway
btw i encourage yall to check out the image yourself to determine if u think its problematic bc once u see it you may personally not think its that bad and i want yall to think for yourself before buycotting over my opinion:p (i think it was absolutely intentional tho bc how do u accidentally reference the Klan, a whole team of ppl had to see the advertisement before it became public TvT)
