@Enchanted alright thx the guy whos teaching me said im a natural strummer but need to work on my fingering and finger dexterity but it was a pretty difficult finger combination, i almost got it

@Andyboi i always specify acoustic cause anytime ive ever said "oh i play guitar!" im always asked acoustic electric? even though i know almost everything on acoustic translates over to electric (some chords dont sound the same or right when played on acoustic they sound better on electric)

@magooty0117 have you tried doing the spider walk? also if you know your scales you can practice walking up and down the fret board with them my problem with guitar was the pain i felt before my hands got a nice callous and then barre chords also stretching my hands for certain chords was a pain but i eventually got it down so so will you! :)

@Enchanted i have no clue what the spider walk is but im guessing its walking like a spider w/ ur fingers on the frets and no i hqvent done it yet also i got a horrible blister on my thumb

@magooty0117 The spider walk is a finger exercise designed to improve finger independence strength and dexterity it involves moving your fingers across the fretboard in a pattern that resembles a spider walking hence the name usually it means playing notes in a sequence across different strings and frets using all four fingers of your fretting hand and ouch blisters make sure your resting your hands and not playing for too long i never got blisters but my hands would cramp and lock up stretch your hands and fingers out before each practice session

quick update: we found a facebook marketplace pawnshop listing for a rlly good looking acoustic guitar and if its still at the shop were gonna pick it up im so excited!!!!
