What's new on BDNS?
Hiyaa! And welcome to the Newsletter Of July 2025!! Down below shows the latest updates/announcements of this month!!New category options
The following shows/tells the new category options that have been added: Staff Communication, BrowseDNS Complaints & Question area, Staff Application, and site updates.
It has also been brought to @Raven's attention that there is confusion on where to post things. The most mistakes that have been occurring are people posting in the Questions/Help category option. Raven has made a post about this: https://browsedns.net/topic/11015/admin-changelog-v.1?_=1753208003831 feel free to inform yourself more on this topic in better detail.Forum settings/Info
There has been some changes in the forum settings like:
Themes: We have changed the default theme to Lumen to give it more of a classic look
Character limit for bio: before it was originally 1000 which caused some problems, so it's now 5000
Account Deletion Guidelines
Earlier in this month @Raven has made a post about the following reasons on why this Account Deletion has been put into play:
To prevent users to delete their account & then coming back hoping they did not see it
To prevent users from deleting their account when they get into serious trouble (this has happened before)
To give a second layer of protection to your accounts.
If for any reason you would like to delete your account please contact @Global-Moderators and they'll guide you on how to. Please note that you MUST have a registered email with us in order to request an account deletion. All account deletions must be sent to contact@browsedns.net and it should be registered with the email your account is under. We will be looking to find ways to reverse account deletions if you ever do want to delete your account and come back that way account deletions aren't permanent. Until then the option will remain disabled.
Post Queue: the Post Queue has been removed until further notice.
Chat Reputation Requirement: this has been put back to zero and has been removed until further notice.I’d like to take the time to appreciate and recognize our amazing staff members in BDNS. They all greatly show good work ethic and make this platform great!

sometimes ocd can be helpful
