i could get a dog bc i have seizures but i'm not walk'n with a cane! i remember i had big like shooting range headphones on in a summer camp and people didn't really understand why, i needed them so i didn't get overwhelmed by noise. i wish there was less stigma around things like this and people understood when no means no. i would benefit from wearing those special headphones but i'm too embarrassed too and people usually think i can't hear them so they want me to take it off
