@cutecoretherian seriously it also takes away from autistic individuals being taken seriously and it's so annoying when it's a disability that causes me to not function normally on a daily basis

even as somebody without autism/adhd, i still get mildly mad at people who portray autism as silly because i know a lot of people tell me their experiences with it and it's not "sunshine and rainbows and silliness". i, unfortunately, know three people who treat it as such. it just makes me sad since i know it's something people struggle with on the daily. it reminds me of those tiktokers faking depression but somehow even worse imo :/
