nicest but most straightforward way possible: wake up and break up. not in an unneeded hatred but if you're sure this guy just ditched you without looking at how much you love him truly then you should leave.

My current bf is my valentine right? he got me jewelry yesterday and I really loved it, I cant really top it due to my living situation. I wrote him a long note about why I love him and got him a ring and made him a glow in the dark star but he didn't react or even read the note and went off with his friends. I'm thinking abt leaving him but my obsession is die-hard for him. I've been DEAD inside all day already so idrk what to do. I try my best to be positive but I just can't rn guys
@cv7mp Say, pal, if ya need someone to talk to about this kinda stuff I WILL put the offer on the table. As for advice on the situation, have you talked with him about it? What lot of people overlook is that he may not have INTENDED to hurt your feelings y'know? Also, I'd work on the obsession problem as that can be taxing on ANY relationship and is bad for your mental health as well- If you are feeling detached or hurt then you should vocalize the issues before you consider breaking up. Only situation I can think of where ya wouldn't do that is if you don't have feelings or if it's abusive. I cannot take a side without seeing both, this problem seems salvageable

You should probably communicate your perspective to your significant other. Communication is and always will be key in any relationship, including a romantic one.
