You should probably communicate your perspective to your significant other. Communication is and always will be key in any relationship, including a romantic one. But the fact that your SO didn't read the note at all is a bit alarming- nevertheless you should talk your feelings out and see how things go.β ββπ€β ββ

I'm sorry you're feeling like this, it sounds sweet that you took the time to write that note AND buy him a present. Try communicate your feelings towards this, afterall that's the key to relationships. He might've not realized he'd upset you and probably didn't think it through.
