this is kinda just a yap post bc ive been wanting to talk abt a few things for awhile
theres these dolls that are popular in china called Natasha dolls i believe, their basically ugly baby stress toys
but the most popular natasha dolls are...black.... as in resemble black babies, and theres so many videos of ppl torturing them, its disgustingthe reason the black dolls are so popular according to the many people engaging with them, is because 'they're less human' then the pale skinned ones, and torturing those ones is no fun because they feel like real babies.
one post i saw explained why the black dolls are more popular because china is very classist, and the people cant blame their government, and they associate whiteness with money, but black ppl are associated with being poor, so theyre people to be stepped on, atleast in the eyes of that culture.
This is ironic bc its exactly what started racism in America... poor white people were mad that theyre poor, rich white ppl made them hate black ppl instead of the rich and powerful who were actually to blame. They created a scapegoat. Gave them something to torture so the felt more powerful then they actually were.
Racism never left, its just rebranding.
i saw a video of someone opening a bunch of natasha doll blind boxes and the man got upset bc he kept getting mainly white dolls... and then ppl in the comments we talking abt how the video isnt [censored] (nothing [censored] abt torturing black babies!)
im sorry but if black people started making videos of them torturing asian looking dolls, there would be an outrage.
anyways a little black toddler was hit by a train and killed where i live recently, and me and my mom saw a small black baby walking by himself and he almost walked into the rode while a motorcycle went by, me and her were literally yelling trying to find his parents
its just so sad to think that people find harm done to black children funny...on top of all this, the man who chased, hunted, shot and murdered cyrus carmack (because he thought he stole a bottle of water, which he didnt) is still yet to be punished. and people are glad about it. People think that the man who killed a 14 year old mixed boy because he supposedly stole a bottle of water (which security footage reveals he didnt steal a thing) and CHASED him over 100 yards to shoot him in the back, is a victim.
the natasha doll may just be dolls, but they reflect how people really see black people.
