Suicidal ideation/plans?my best friend for about two years now (I'll call him K) , has been struggling horribly since way before i met him. last year, he told me he was planning on ending his life. i panicked- we had discussed his sh before that- but never [censored]. I told the counselor. he was sent to a mental hospital by his parents. again. It didn't help him at all however. every hospital in our area is HORRIBLE. i wish i would have known that sooner... The beginning of this year started rough friendship-wise... but he had me promise i wouldn't tell anyone again. i saw how horribly it affected him last time ... and hesitantly agreed.
Recently however- he's been talking to me about it again. i dont know what to do anymore. i cant lose him. i've lost too many people in my life- and ig that makes me selfish but... hes one of the only friends i have left.
please. i dont know what to do.

it sucks because both our parents are shitty and hate us hanging around each other- like. to the point we cant contact each other AT ALL outside of school. he's mentioned he wishes we could text- so he would have some kind of distraction- but theres genuinely no way it could happen.. no matter how much i wish it would. as for everything else- i'm following it. i've been doing research - studying statistics- all of that- and putting it to use... its just that... nothing seems to be working.
