this mangas art is stunning and such a pleasure to look at, i bought it two days ago and finished volume 1 today and went hunting for vols 2 and 3

full moon may look like a little kids manga but its far from it and faces alot of mature topics like the exploitation of young girls in the music industry and well.. death.
but it also talks about what it means to live and abt love

theres so much to talk abt but its a great read and also kinda a romance and the art is incredible, my only critique so far is that the cat guy, as much as i love him, is kinda a douche bag and his feelings for mitsuki are inappropriate and even tho i like the romance its not rlly justifiable... and just not appropriate and i dont ship it at all TvT

besides that its my fav manga rn and if u like cute stuff and emotional stories u should totally check it out!

Rosado is another character ppl got mad Abt him not being trans, I feel like it's messed up bc not all crossdressers are trans TvT and men can like feminine stuff too and still identify as men, I actually think it's messed up to consider any person that doesn't conform to societal gender expectations as trans bc then they arent rlly not-conforming anymore? Like if rosado was trans hed no longer be special as a man who likes cute stuff/crossdresses, now hes just a girl who likes cute stuff and wears skirts, which is normal??? TvT

Velvet from the new Ribbon hero anime is another example of a feminine presenting male (who cross dresses) and still identifies as a man (he's rlly tea and the movies art direction is beautiful y'all should check it out)

Even if she views it as a mental illness (that you can't control) shouldn't she naturally want to accommodate for it by using your pronouns so you feel more comfortable and happy?? TvT

By calling it a mental illness she admits that it's biologically the way you are and that you can't control it, I feel like calling it a mental illness to invalidate your identity is contradicting because your just admitting that it's a ACTUAL biological thing if that makes sense

I feel like if a parent is willing to accommodate for their kids disorder when they have autism, ADHD and more then they should treat gender dysphoria the same way

I know its controversial but I actually do view gender dysphoria and being trans or nonbinary as a actual disorder but I feel like it being a actual real thing actually invalidates transphobia bc its not a choice and ppl already try to accommodate for disorders (like the ones previously mentioned) and gender dysphoria should be treated the same way, accepted and accommodated for, like the way y'all feel is real and theres a science behind it and theres ways to make you feel more comfortable in your own bodies, it should be taken seriously as a medical thing so y'all can live more comfortably and people can have a better understanding of it

Well magical boys ARE a thing, maybe their wish was to be more masculine? (Maybe theyre magical boy fit is very masculine presenting) Also I think kyubey would respect the characters identity bc it's a actual medical thing that they can't control and kyubey is really smart so he'd understand it

I think the concept of a trans magical boy has potential to be really interesting and I actually had a similar idea but the character wasnt trans, they were a guy chosen to play the role of a magical girl and it was more Abt exploring how societal views on masculinity effect how men present and express themselves and see themselves:p (I gave up on it tho bc it was kinda gay TvT)

The wallows, every song is a banger, set it off is the band that got me into rock/edgier music but they're smaller, TV girl has a lot of good songs but even the Wallows lesser known songs are bangers so id put them over TV girl (though TV girl is more iconic)

Imma be real idgaf if someone says it bc its just a show of their character and it doesn't actually hurt me, and I especially dont mind when it's just genuinely a part of a latinos vocabulary bc if the environment they grew up in and they're using it as a term of endearment (unfortunately that's kinda just how the culture is in some areas y'know?) but alot of ppl (mainly newer gen actually and Wana be thug kids) use it in ONLY negative context or as a joke to be funny or in a mocking way, and I don't believe that most latinos are genuinely [censored] bc of it because I dont think saying a word makes you [censored], but it is ignorant and disrespectful and the fact that they get mad when ppl do say something instead of taking accountability Is just...
