Some good advice is looking around and conversating with people. I advise you to start spending more time on getting to know people and when you are well-known or have good reputation from the current staff, you are welcome to apply. I also want to say being professional is something you need to work on. I only hire mods that are Thick-skinned, well behaved, bring value, and are professional.

Some advice on keeping a good reputation from staff:

• Don't Bug us about becoming moderator if you are not going to put in the work.
• Get known around the site
• Explore the features.
• keep a good history.

Such things like calling yourself a "mod wannabe" would definitely be looked down upon by any well experienced Administrator, Global Mod, or application maintainer on any forum.

A good role model is someone who guides users to success and helps users when they need help most.
