I love Metallica but I was never big on nirvana,, more of an Alice in Chains guy myself

here's another poem:

She lies in the bed next to me,
she's sober, yet she still smokes.
She told me that she loved me.
The doctors say no hugging,
But when I cry, she breaks the rules.

I woke up in the middle of the night with syringes in my arm,
and her eyes on me- she was next, she knew it.
She gave me her sweatshirt when all I had was scrubs,
and I never returned it.

I miss her.

And the doctor says "I'm sorry".
There is nothing they can do,
But condemn me to a bed far away.
The security guard offers me candy,
But it'll never drown the crying from next door.

I am here, I am there.
And I will never go again.
