Posts/Topics
Just a friendly reminder that all topics should have some purpose to them. Meaning, they must at least have a solid structure that is actually engaging to the public, rather than a topic that has no meaning (brainrot, memes ect.) This includes topic titles that are tedious (hey, wassup, ect) This is supposed to bring more people together, and see a increase in log ins, Posts, on the site.

What's new on BDNS?
Hiyaa! And welcome to the Newsletter Of July 2025!! Down below shows the latest updates/announcements of this month!!

New category options
The following shows/tells the new category options that have been added: Staff Communication, BrowseDNS Complaints & Question area, Staff Application, and site updates.
It has also been brought to @Raven's attention that there is confusion on where to post things. The most mistakes that have been occurring are people posting in the Questions/Help category option. Raven has made a post about this: https://browsedns.net/topic/11015/admin-changelog-v.1?_=1753208003831 feel free to inform yourself more on this topic in better detail.

Forum settings/Info
There has been some changes in the forum settings like:
Themes: We have changed the default theme to Lumen to give it more of a classic look
Character limit for bio: before it was originally 1000 which caused some problems, so it's now 5000
Account Deletion Guidelines
Earlier in this month @Raven has made a post about the following reasons on why this Account Deletion has been put into play:
To prevent users to delete their account & then coming back hoping they did not see it
To prevent users from deleting their account when they get into serious trouble (this has happened before)
To give a second layer of protection to your accounts.
If for any reason you would like to delete your account please contact @Global-Moderators and they'll guide you on how to. Please note that you MUST have a registered email with us in order to request an account deletion. All account deletions must be sent to contact@browsedns.net and it should be registered with the email your account is under. We will be looking to find ways to reverse account deletions if you ever do want to delete your account and come back that way account deletions aren't permanent. Until then the option will remain disabled.
Post Queue: the Post Queue has been removed until further notice.
Chat Reputation Requirement: this has been put back to zero and has been removed until further notice.

Hello! As you may already know this is the November Newsletter giving you all of the recent updates and announcements on the site. With that being said, let's get straight into it!

New Password Policies
Requirements FOR Password Reset Form:
Must have the Email connected to the account requested
If you meet the above qualifications, message one of the @Global-Moderators on a new account or email us at contact@browsedns.net using the email connected to your account and within 48 hours you will be sent a password reset form via email and you will have the opportunity to change it. Please note that we will only send you this email twice and if you do it again, unfortunately, you will have to make a new account.

Account Security Code Method:
If you do not have an email, message a Global Moderator whenever you get a chance, that moderator will send you a 16 digit security code that you are expected to keep up with. If you misplace it or leak this security code it is completely your fault. After a security code is used, you will be given a new one. We will only reset your password twice. If you do it again, unfortunately, you will have to make a new account.

If you manage to get locked out of your account w/ your security code:
Message a Global Moderator saying you used the security code method on using a new account. Ideally have an alt account prepared and let us know that it is your alt.
Send them the 16 digit security code. Double check for typos!
Once the authenticity of the security code is confirmed that Global Mod will have an administrator reach out to you within 48 hours. DO NOT MESSAGE AN ADMINISTRATOR, WE WILL MESSAGE YOU.
This has been put into place for future situations if you forget your password, and unable to log into your account.

Site Updates
As you may already know the post queue is temporarily in play. I ask you for your patience as we work to trouble shoot. In advance, the VIP Memberships are now available! In order to posses the membership you must have a 1 month old account or be a trusted user, and have no Bans or Mutes in the past 30 days.. Please be aware that Globals and Managers may decline you with or without reasoning. Some perks of being a VIP Member is.. Post Queue is disabled, and special access to VIP shoutbox. There will be more features coming soon, so stay tuned! @GumiDow obvi the term "God" is all living and can't be killed/die, but I'd say he did a good job at trying to perceive that way for the 3/4 of the anime. plus a lot of people had faith in him in the second half of the anime js like people now. I'd say he was a god at one point and could've been way more if near didn't catch on.
