As someone who deals with flashbacks, nightmares and episodes I can help. I understand what you mean about getting help isn’t easy because I even have a therapist and she isn’t helping me with shit. How I personally cope is doing things that I like or thinking about things that I like. Whenever something goes wrong or I’m having one of those episodes I just list all the amazing things that have happened to me and that it’s ok. Another thing that helps is knowing it won’t happen again, convince yourself you are safe, note your surroundings and process everything is ok. Whenever I Have flashbacks or nightmares I usually go to my older brother to help calm me down, if you have someone close to you who you feel safe with definitely go with them. I really hope this helps because it has definitely helped me
