I've noticed that pretty much the only places where AI is accepted are also places where plagiarism is also accepted.

Roblox devs use AI very often because the platform has a plagiaristic culture.
Programmers in general use AI sometimes but its accepted because copying code from other people was already a thing

For places where plagiarism is not accepted, AI is often not accepted.

In art, plagiarism is frowned upon so much that it can ruin your career, so AI is also frowned upon.
In writing, plagiarism is also not okay
In education, it can result in similar punishments to just copying someone else's work completely
On steam AI is used but extremely frowned upon, etc.

Since it was trained on content without compensation to the original creators, it's treated the same as a plagiarism machine for obvious reasons.

tbh if AI actually paid people to contribute training data for it with their permission, it'd be way less horrible.

It'd still be pretty bad for other reasons, but the main issue has to be the stealing of millions of texts, videos, books (that are also permanently destroyed afterward btw if there's only one copy), art, code, etc. without monetary compensation to creators. Like rn they're making bank off of the work of others which is so messed up

me pissing on a piece of paper is worth more than ai "art". Unless someone put in the time and effort to actually make it, its not art.

@Spooky-GooXy the thing is the FPE style is so easy to replicate too, like it's mostly simple shapes which ether speaks to the lack of skill this person had or the sheer laziness. I bet I could take the AI photos as a ref image and copy the style myself and it'd take an hour, two at most to

1. create a sketch
2. ink the sketch
   and 3., add shading and color to the inked line art

@Spooky-GooXy i'm actively drawing this thing right now, the AI oc ref sheet is kinda a pain because of all the inconsistancys, extra/miss limbs and so on, the AI didn't really replacate the fpe style pretty well tbh, so I'm just trying to take the AI design and make it look more organic I suppose
