Sometimes always doesn't contradict itself by the words canceling each other out... It means that the chance that I don't do the thing I'm referring to is astronomically slim. Right?
Am I just dumb...
I think I'm dumb. Perhaps I should use almost always. Though, sometimes always is much more satisfying. Plus "almost" doesn't describe just how rare the occurence of my not doing it is in my brain.

This could also work for when you're trying to describe the fact that you do something regularly (always) only sometimes of the year. For instance, I have bouts of depression where my regular schedule gets messed up because I have no motivation to do anything, but those bouts are far and few in-between. So I would still consider my schedule to be regular... Sometimes always.
