THIS! I made an entire post before ranting about this I can't stand it like you're allowed to be able to feel comfortable with yourself as an autistic person but it bugs ME THAT SOME PEOPLE legit make autism a whole quirky personality

even as somebody without autism/adhd, i still get mildly mad at people who portray autism as silly because i know a lot of people tell me their experiences with it and it's not "sunshine and rainbows and silliness". i, unfortunately, know three people who treat it as such. it just makes me sad since i know it's something people struggle with on the daily. it reminds me of those tiktokers faking depression but somehow even worse imo :/
