for those who didnt know, MCAS is this big test us Massachusetts kids have to do each year and it takes two days per subject and has like a thousand questionsss and you have to write multiple essays for the ELA one
it used to be a major graduation requirement until like this year

despite not being a graduation requirement, its still important. the district keeps tracks of which schools have the best and worse mcas scores, colleges still look at students scores when taking applications, and you can earn gift cards and scholarships by having a top score
i had one of the top 20% MCAS scores in 7th or 8th grade, and im planning to earn that scholarship this year.

we have something similar in Rhode island, I had to do RICAS, but it stopped after 8th grade so I'm surpirsed to see you guys are still doin it
