My dad hit me.

Luana.vasper

So, he doesn't usually do this.

Idrk what to do now.

I have a yellow, pink, and blue bruise on my ribs.

Uh...

It kinda hurts.

Someone...

holy crap. i don't mean to be nosy but why did he hit u?

Luana.vasper

@Someone... No, it's fine. dw

Basically, I was helping my mom cook dinner. She had me open some cans of vegetables and beans. She told me to go ahead and drain them all (we had carrots, green beans, and black-eyed peas), so that's what I did. When I was draining my last can, the peas, she suddenly told I was not supposed to drain them (I didn't know and I assumed those were included in "drain them all"). She got really mad. Then my dad got even madder. He looked like a [censored] fire ant. Told me I ruined their entire evening.

All I did was try to defend myself in the most repectful way possible by just saying I didn't know and why I assumed (which was really hard because my Dad's already spitting mad in my face and shoving me around). He proceeded to tell me how dare I tell anyone what to do (I wasn't telling anyone what to do) and then said "You wanna buck up against me? You think you're big and bad and that shit? Do you really? C'mon then!"

And that's when he hit me in my chest. It legit knocked the breath out of me. I had a terrible night. I'm trying not to let it affect my mood and stay positive.

call the police.. thats not okay... especially the ribs- i can understand a slap on the face if you genuinely did somethin... you didnt do anything wrong and you have organs in your chest that could have been damaged... call the police- show them the bruise, tell them what happend.

Luana.vasper

@xenthy I don't really feel like getting anything like that involved. Like I said, this isn't a common occurence, so I'm not in grave danger or anything. And I have feeling all that will happen is my home life will be observed, they'll get a pass, and then then I'll be fcking in for it. That'll really piss them off.

xenthy

due to you being hit, if you call say for them to do it silently. or tell a teacher. teachers and counselors will help.

Luana.vasper

@xenthy Unfortunately, I'm being unschooled, or else I might.

xenthy

@Luana.vasper it shouldnt be an occurance, you're being ab3sed and thats not okay.. in no reason should they bruise you or hit you at all..

especially over a can of peas... and also.. "they wont do anything" is why most ab3se victims are scared to tell. trust me, if you say something to a counselor or teacher they will help.

xenthy

@Luana.vasper do you have any trusted adults?

Luana.vasper

@xenthy I just don't think it'll get any better. The risks are far too heavy for me to consider it. I wish I could, though.

Luana.vasper

@xenthy Nope. I'm not around anyone except them.

xenthy

@Luana.vasper try to stay safe.. thats not okay for them to do.. if it helps, ill send you my luck and hope the best for you.

i really hope things get better for you..

make sure to leave as soon as you're 18- look into housing authorities, they can help probibly.
