My original high E string finally broke after 4 and half years of me having my guitar.

Is it just me or are they not supposed to last this long? And I'm like... not very nice to the strings even. Plus, the other ones are all still the original strings that came with the guitar. I just replaced the one.

That b1tch was a pain in the [censored] too. I have vintage pegs apparently and it was hard to find a tutorial for them. And I can understand why they made different ones because oml it was so hard to install the new string. Thankfully, a pair of tweezers helped at least.

@macnscream Damn, that's crazy. How on earth did it rust? Did you leave it in a bathtub?

macnscream

@Luana.vasper nah it js does that

Luana.vasper

@macnscream Do you have a high percentage of humidity in your climate where you live?

macnscream

@Luana.vasper ya kinda

Luana.vasper

@macnscream Maybe that's why it rusted after so long, then.
