yeah, recently this site has been getting toxic. i don't blame you for leaving at all. i'm genuinely surprised i haven't just deleted my account one day and never looked back.

ze franks is the name of a youtube channel that teaches you about biology, but not in the traditional lecture way, trust me when i say YOU WILL learn something and remember it too

crash corse has enter corses on anything you could possibly need to learn about, wether it be psychology, or US history

h0ser is a youtube channel that teaches you about the economy of other countrys for the most part with drawings of animals representing the country in question

ted ed can be good for smaller topics, but you can still learn a lot from it, like you could get a mythology story read to you as you watch an animation going along with it

i use these channels as a way to learn about stuff, you could really enjoy watching them for studying and stuff :3

something i have noticed is people who are like veterans or people who just made an account are leaving, now this is just my opinion, but i feel like this site has been extremely toxic. witch sounds absurd given how the rules of this site are. i feel like we as a community should try to be nicer to eachother. you never know how what you say on here will effect someone irl. do you think we can be more welcoming?
ik i try to message and follow all the new users i see and try to help them feel at home, as aposed to just ignoring them or whatever.

I should vote for them kept accusing the other one of supporting trans people where as the other dude literally WASN'T EVEN bringing up anything controversial. he actually told the viewer WHAT he was going to do in power (imporove education and healthcare for the poor)
please keep this in mind, if you the reader wants to be in a position of power, instead of bringing up stupid shit to trash your competitor, tell everyone what your actually gonna do. even if I was a transphobe, i'd understand that they are irrelevant to bring up as a talking point bc they aren't really worth my time, I'd be wasting time on a group of people who really aren't important as a talking point. wether you go into politics, or wanna be a senior patrol leader in the BSA, avoid irrelevant talking points in explaing why people should vote for you. unfortunately, I think this type of thing is fairly common nowadays, especially on social media, people will argue over anyone and anything in order to get into power, despite being in the generation known for having such accsses to knowledge, we still fall for talking point propaganda (bringing up irrelevant talking points to try to trash the other person, there's probably a more specific name for this but I'm drawing a blank) please reader, have critical thinking.
