Anyone on here who had a DS or 3DS as a kid? I figured this would be a good place to share the memories you made with them before they got discontinued 😞 I had an electric blue super Mario bros 2 edition 2DS as mine. We went through a LOT together. I was heartbroken when they discontinued the eshop and online servers. I literally cried, it meant so much to me. Anyway that’s enough about me, what about you?

I think I got mine when I was 9?? 🤔 Me and my mom were in the store and she said I could pick something under like $50 as a bday present, and I was contemplating between a nerf gun and the 2DS. They also had some promo where you got an additional free game with the 2DS too, so I got Super Mario World

that's odd cause 2 days after I got my 3DS I gotten about 3 games, Om Nom 3 In One (lowk forgot the name of it), Super Mario 64 DS (was banned in a country because of a gambling mode in it), and The Smurfs (lots of game modes)

we had a big [censored] red ds xl from a used game store, i played a shitty [censored] ubisoft fashion design game with horrible graphics even for 20 years ago, or maybe the screen wasnt working well, idk. we have a 20+ year old ds, its black, idk where it is but that thing is ancient but still works better than my switch i got back in 2024, was probably a few years old when i got it tbh

DS and DSIs (idk about 3ds bc i never had one) are basically indestructible if you arent activliy tryna distroy it, they cant make anything that lasts longer than a year or two with regular use and it pmo. they should really just go back to the drawing board and make modern DSIs instead of this crap

My brother had a mario maker 3ds that i ALWAYS begged to play now i have a modded 3ds :P

my 2ds xl was a mainly black with blue outlines and super mario bros 2 was my first game I played on it

and then like a few more years i got tomodatchi life and grinded the hell out of it
(og tomodatchi was so good but damn living the dream looks peak)

My brother had a mario maker 3ds that i BEGGED to play every day he had kirby robobot but it was the demo and he ran out of trys so i got one just to play kirby and star fox
