Even if the moderators aren't responsible for censors, they continue to serve a false god who plays protector while controlling large groups of people.

i agree, though with hesitation. i think there can be some bad apples but- the censorship is within reason, the censorship we do and enforce goes with standard morals and reason. we censor stuff like R@c!sm, S3xual words, and things that can be used to harm the community. but also, there are some mods that care :) i joined personally.. because i think i would help actually change this for the better, and not tire out and become all professional and mean or rude. but yeah, i agree. censorship sucks, but it helps alot.

and the mods arent "more equal", its literally their job to enforce website rulesi also dont like that youre comparing mods on a website to real-world corrupt government. the two can have parallels, sure, but youre immature and unaware of whats happening in the real world if you truly believe the two to be similar.

To me it seems like we are just saying shit without actually looking into the whole point of having moderators, which is to enforce rules. Nothing in this world is free from consequences or some form of limitation, that is a fact, so if we are going to speak factually here, we are practically doing the same thing that the whole world is doing. Our rules are made to keep our platform healthy, safe, and enjoyable to some extent. P
At the end of the day, there are laws that require us to avoid breaking, so before we sit here and f*cking assume that moderation is pointless, maybe go fact check? Not hard.
