but, back on track because this is IMPORTANT.
this could mean i stop posting art as often as i do.

so anyways, lets get to the main subject.
If you don't know, I have a bark phone. (Which is a phone with extreme parental controls)
this phone allows the parent/guardian to see EVERYTHING about their child.
i can't even joke about anything anymore without being asked by my piece of shit dad asking "Hey, are you okay?"
YES, MARK, IM FINE.
JUST BECAUSE I JOKED ABOUT HARMING MYSELF DOESNT MEAN IM GONNA DO IT.
but anyways... He's threatening to basically block this site.
if you don't know, i use my phone to upload all my traditional AND digital art.
If BDNS gets blocked, there's a high chance that one of three things is gonna happen
1: i use an image to URL generator, and manually type the links so you guys can see my art
OR
2: the quality of my art goes down, as i'll use my laptop to draw
OR
3: i stop posting art entirely.

my dad's been like, Tweaking out for the past two months because he had gotten fired, then got a new job, and apparently, He's on the same boat he used to work on.

Okay, that's it.
i just wanted to get all of this out, even though its not much, it helps

I don't know how old you are but if you are a teenager AND still have a bark phone you might as well smuggle in a burner phone, maybe get some cash and buy one from an e-shop because that's outrageous

If the phone tracks your location, leave it with a friend your dad knows so that friend can assure your dad you're alive. Just get that burner phone and plan that exit

if you're a preteen, then I don't know honestly. To me, preteens should have at least a sense of monitoring but not like that, so..

@CH3SI oof, I know i've heard of bark phones before, but the good news is, a burner phone is cheap and will cost 20-40$, I used to used one and the camera wasn't as bad as you'd think. the 20$ phone I used when I was 14 was actually more functional than my laptop is, it had a much better camera and since it was cheap, they didn't care about you downloading things like AKP files so modifying the phone was easy.

if you do get a phone, you don't need to pay for a sim card, you can use normal wifi, but i'd go into setting and change your device's name to like Nintendo switch to avoid suspicion if you're parent's check the internet box/router thinggy

a moto g play phone is cheap, hot chili peppers are as well. a used phone from a good brand on ebay will likely only set you back by 40$ max, here are some examples of cheap phones (I couldn't find the 20$ hot pepper phone I used to use btw, I know they exist but possibly they went up in price)

if you can get some money, even if you don't have a credit card, like, find a friend who has a card, give them the cash and they pay for the phone with their credit card. idk, maybe you give them like 5$ extra for them to pocket and keep as a tip for using their credit card? idk, i'm really tryna help my guy : c

@Faust I know you already mentioned burner phones lol, but I wanted to go a bit more in depth and show how to get a cheap one, and the internet trick so if they check what devices are connected to the internet they'll just see like a Nintendo swich.
(I will note, most if not every phone i've used was able to change device name, but how to do it varies by device.)
